How Do I Use Edex^®?

To ensure safe and effective use of Edex (alprostadil for injection), you should be thoroughly instructed and trained in the self-injection technique before you begin treatment with Edex at home. Be sure to use only the dose prescribed by your doctor.

Edex is injected into a specific area of the penis. Please watch the Injection Procedure Instructions video below carefully before you prepare the Edex solution. Edex should always be used immediately after mixing.

Storing Edex

Edex should be stored at approximately 77º F (25º C), however the temperature can vary between 59º to 86º F (15º to 30º C). Avoid extremes in temperature. If you travel with Edex, do NOT store it in your checked luggage during air travel or leave it in a closed car.
